General Information
The Ministry of Works and Housing in collaboration with the Building and Road Research Institute (BRRI) and the Ghana Institute of Architects (GIA) in line with the celebration of the World Habitat Day is organizing this year’s National Housing Conference on the theme ‘Planning our urban Future’ from the 7th to the 8th of October, 2009 at the Conference Room of the Science and Technology Policy Research Institute (STEPRI) of the Council for Scientific Research Institutes (CSIR), near Alliance Francaise at the Airport Residential Area, Accra.


Terms of Submission

Papers should not exceed 20 double-spaced type-set pages (including tables, figures and references) on A4-size paper with regular margins. A PowerPoint presentation would have to be submitted about two weeks before the date of the commencement of the conference along with abstracts. The following information should be provided:
•    Theme chosen,
•    Abstract title in capital letters,
•    Name of the presenting author and the address where correspondence can be sent,
•    The text of the abstract should include: statement of purpose, methods used and summary of results, in a maximum of 400 words,
•    5 key-words,
•    E-mail address,
•    Co-authors.

English is the obligatory language for abstracts and papers and should be 400 words.

Submission of a paper implies that it has not been previously published, and will not be published elsewhere without the consent of the publisher. Contributions should be sent to:
